CyberLearning STEM Academy for K-12 Schools Provided By:

National Education Foundation (NEF) CyberLearning
The National Nonprofit Leader in K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engg & Math) Academies

CyberLearning STEM Academy (CSA) Program:

  • ELIGIBILITY: K-12 schools/school districts with at least 35% of students on free/reduced lunch
  • GRANT: NEF provides 10%-100% matching donation grant ($5,000 to $10,000,000 per school/school district) in terms of K-12 Online Web-based STEM, SAT, ACT, IT & Business courses mapped to NCLB standards
  • FEDERAL GRANTS: NEF matching grant meets fully the matching grant requirements for many Federal grants such as QZAB, Gear Up and Perkins IV that the match partner should help “prepares students for college and workforce”

The CSA Solution Site License program provides:

  • MENTORING -- 24 x 7 live instant mentoring
  • STIPENDS for teachers, iPods for students, and awards for parents
  • FREE TRAINING for the teachers and Academy Director
  • FREE TECH SUPPORT
  • FREE LMS (Learning Management System) similar to Blackboard that allows for the tracking of student activity, performance and instant report generation

How to Get Started:
  • Complete the tear sheet form below and email to: lpeters@cyberlearning.org
  • Request the 10%-100% match donation letter
  • Attach letter from NEF to the Federal grant application
  • Appoint a CSA director
  • Visit www.cyberlearning.org/courses to see all 3,000 courses available
  • Request complimentary IDs to access courses
  • Do a needs analysis and determine the number of licenses needed
  • Request a CSA Solution Site License Letter for a subsidized fee of $30 per student
